What's Included

Composition + Care

Underwear: 78% Nylon, 22% Spandex (outer), 100% BCI Cotton (inner). Machine wash cold. Made in Sri Lanka from imported materials.
Reusable Ice/Heat Pack: Store in the freezer for cooling comfort. Microwave for 15 second intervals for heat therapy. Do not machine wash. When needed, clean by rinsing in cold water with mild soap and let air dry.
Uterine On-The-Go Heat Presses: Remove from protective wrapper, unfold, and feel the press start to warm to a maximum temperature of 136 degrees Fahrenheit. Place inside front pocket of Nyssa underwear or leggings or adhere to outside of any underwear, front or back. Use once and then discard. Do not microwave. Do not place directly against skin. Contents: Iron, Water, Kieselguhr (diatomaceous earth), Activated Charcoal, Sodium Chloride.

When should I use ice and when should I use heat?

Ice therapy is the traditional weapon of choice for dealing with soft tissue injuries that involve swelling. Cold therapy, also called cryotherapy, reduces blood flow, which mitigates pain-causing inflammation and swelling. This makes ice a useful tool for everyday pain management and application wherever there is swelling (eg: incision site, chafed nipples). Heat, on the other hand, opens vessels to increase blood flow, making its application critical for alleviating muscle pain and removing blockages caused by clogged milk ducts.

Are the materials and cooling agents in the Uterine Reusable Ice/Heat Pack safe?

The exterior of our ice/heat packs is made of an FDA-approved knitted plastic/fabric composite. The cooling agent is comprised of naturally derived ingredients: Glycerine, Water, and Sodium Polymer. These ingredients are all non-toxic and approved by the FDA.

Can the Uterine Reusable Ice/Heat Pack and Uterine On-the-Go Heat Press be used directly on the skin?

Yes. However, placing any ice/heat pack directly on the skin can cause tissue damage, particularly for sensitive areas such as the perineum. For hot therapy specifically, please make sure that you safely and thoroughly test the temperature of your pack prior to placing it directly onto your skin.

What Makes the Uterine On-the-Go Heat Press different from the Uterine Reusable Ice/Heat Pack?
